Exotic Sports Cars Bugatti Veyron
The Veyron has a top-end speed of 252-mph, making it the fastest production car in the world. Its W16 engine puts out an amazing 1,001 horsepower, which also makes it the most powerful. With a carbon fiber and aluminum body and frame to help reduce the car's weight, it checks in at 4,500 pounds - which is still surprisingly heavy for its size.
W16 refers to the Veyron 16.4 cylinder and turbocharger engine. This quad-turbo 8-liter monster is one of the most powerful engines ever constructed for an automobile. The "W" refers to the two narrow-angled Volkswagen V8s that are joined together. The Bugatti Veyron literally has two Corvette engines.
The car is all-wheel-drive (AWD) and operates like an F-1 car in terms of the 7-speed automated manual gearbox. Sitting in this car and pressing on the accelerator may be enough to cause serious injury unless you're properly secured. The Veyron is nothing to be played with.
It can go from 0 to 60 mph in only 2.5 seconds, and it runs the quarter mile in an amazing 10 seconds. With the top-speed mode engaged, a driver could top out at the amazing 252 mph in under a minute. However, as that speed is a dangerous prospect, Bugatti's production models are released with a speed max of 230 mph.
Surprisingly, the Bugatti Veyron is said to be a very easy car to drive. The wheel base on the sports car is massive, and thanks to the AWD, hairpin turns and other handling obstacles are that much easier. The car is said to not be so "knee-jerk" like other sports cars on the market.
If you're thinking that the Veyron is all-machine with no class, think again. The car is designed to be beautiful and elegant. The leather interior covers a plush seat, and the aluminum trim gives the car the look of a racecar, with the feel of a luxury automobile.
One of the biggest accomplishments achieved by the Bugatti Veyron is its ability to handle (in this sense, meaning not going out of control) in a straight line at top speed. Some other fast cars of the world, like the McLaren F1, will spin out of control at 240 mph. The Veyron is a marvel of modern machinery.

Ford Focus Compact Car
The 2011 recalls for the Ford Focus saw reason by way of faulty fuel pumps/fuel systems: on certain vehicles, it is reported, there is/was contamination of the filter in the fuel delivery module. This problem was said to make it possible for a reduction of fuel and/or loss of fuel to the engine. This problem obviously had the possible effects of engine surging, hesitation, or skipping, if you will, all of which technically could have resulted in a crash.

Mazda Miata MX-5
By most accounts, the MX-5 Miata is ranked at the top or near the top of every pick of affordable sports cars. Consumer Reports puts it as a "Top Recommendation." Car and Driver rates it among their "10 Best". The key word here is "affordable." If you are a sports car enthusiast on a tight budget, this MX-5 Miata might be your dream car.
Mazda refreshed the Miata for their 2009 model, so the 2010 edition had very little changes. The soft top Miata is available in three trim levels - Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Our test model was the Grand Touring model. It sported a beautiful Copper Red Mica exterior color, with a Beige interior. The Grand Touring model also has the option of an automatic retractable hardtop. Fortunately, the test model included this feature. It operates so easily and so efficiently. Retractable hardtops are not new, but for a small sports car, they are very convenient, allowing almost instant enjoyment of the open top.
The interior of the Miata is adequate, but nothing exceptional. The cabin is generally considered cramped for taller drivers. It didn't bother me at all. The dashboard sets rather high and the seat does not raise too much, so short drivers might have to stretch some to see out the front. The test model had all the anticipated features plus a few nice extras such as the automatic dimming rear view mirrors. The leather seats were heated, which is always a great feature.
Performance wise, the Miata is always fun to drive and it is almost like being on a skateboard or roller skates. It changes directions almost instantly with a slight touch of the steering wheel. It consistently gives the driver the thrill of holding the road on sharp turns or movements. It can instantly transport your mind onto the curves high above the Mediterranean while you imagine you are competing in the famed Monte Carlo.

Extreme Cyber Cars Automotive Concept
Concept cars have extreme or radical engines, designs, materials, layouts, doors or things not found on production cars. Most concept cars never get past the scale model or computer drawings. A small numbers of concept vehicles are actually fully functional and some can't even move faster than 10 mph safely.
A concept vehicle that I would never want to see in production is the Ford Nucleon, a nuclear powered car. MIT worked with Frank Gehry to develop the MIT Car concept vehicle.

BMW salvage cars
Some individuals may be looking for a BMW for their daily car, while others are looking for a salvage to create their project car. The idea is that BMW salvage cars can suit with in both cases. If a person is a fancier of restoration works then BMW salvage cars will go well for that. Several BMW salvage cars might have some smallest damages, but some tiny engine works or body repairs should be made. The only thing left to keep in mind is a person buying a BMW salvage car should have the capacity to repair the car; it would be a mistake otherwise, because the cars are placed at auto salvage auctions due to the cost of repairs.

Concept cars Design
Concept cars design are prototypes of ideal cars. They are usually showcased for public exhibition. In the fiercely competitive world of car manufacturing, manufacturers are constantly designing and making special cars to show their ability to design and manufacture highly useful cars, built ahead of the times. As the name goes, such cars are purely conceptual in nature.
Why are concept cars conceptual?
Manufacturers of such cars do not go for mass production. This is because prototype cars are non-traditional and are made of very expensive materials or materials like paper or carbon fiber, mass production of which is not feasible. The designs and layouts of such cars are too fanciful to be implemented practically.
Purpose of designing concept cars:
Concept cars are made combining the best of modern technology with the highly effective and time-tested layouts of cars from the past. Reactions to such cars enable automobile companies feel the pulse of the market. The fanciness of the cars set the pace for future designs. Manufacturers come to know whether a car is acceptable or requires a few modifications before going to production. Cars which evince little interest are usually destroyed. Those which catch the imagination of the public are preserved as a strategy to expand the list of company patents.
New Porsche Concept Car
Who would have thought that you could have a mean looking, fast racing, good looking sports car that also has impressive green credentials? Well, that's exactly what Porsche are proposing with their latest concept car: the Porsche 918 Spyder. Let's take a closer look.
Unveiled on the eve of the famous Geneva Auto Show, the Stuttgart based company, Porsche, lifted the lid on their new concept car which happens to be a mid engine, two seater sports cars with hybrid and electric drive technology. It certainly looks mean, but what are the stats like? Remarkably impressive when looked at. Nought to Sixty in less than 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 198mph and it happens to be faster than the Carrera GT, as proven by successfully finishing the Nurburgring lap in less than 7 minutes 30 seconds.
So, how can a car have all this power and claim to be green? The 918 Spyder has electric motors at the front and rear axles. The drive to the front wheels is purely electric via a fixed ratio. The liquid cooled lithium ion battery pack sits behind the cockpit and can be ideally charged at home or by brake regeneration.
This sports car is a high revving V-8 related, 3.4 litre racing car. It produces more than 500 brake horse power with engine revs of up to 9200 rpm. Yet, it does an incredible 78mpg, driven the right way, plus the emissions level sit at just 70 grams of CO2 per kilometre.
The chassis is made from CFP (Carbon fiber reinforced plastic), along with the use of a lot of magnesium and aluminium to keep the frame as light as possible. The stylish interior is designed to be driver orientated with touch screens and intuitive controls.
The Porsche 918 Spyder whilst still a concept car at this stage is a sports car that looks exactly how a sports car should look and drives exactly how a sports car should drive along with boosting very impressive green credentials. It promises to be a car of the future holding real production possibilities which could set a new standard for the next generation of sports cars.
Concept Cars Models
Concept cars model is a term that the majority of car owners or drivers know nothing about. I had always thought that a concept auto was the clay model that is made for a new car style. That's nowhere near close, because concept cars are actual real cars built and ready to drive. A concept vehicle is a show car or prototype meant to be driven around to showcase a new concept, style, technology, etc.
Concept vehicles are usually shown at the big motor shows throughout the world. They're shown to consumers to gauge their reactions to radical design changes or concepts. The idea of the concept or show car was developed by the GM designer Harley Earl. The concept auto is a real car, but it never goes into production directly. It would have to changed for safety, practicality and costs to be a production vehicle instead of just a concept vehicle.
Concept cars have extreme or radical engines, designs, materials, layouts, doors or things not found on production cars. Most concept cars never get past the scale model or computer drawings. A small numbers of concept vehicles are actually fully functional and some can't even move faster than 10 mph safely. After the concept vehicle is done being used, the cars are usually destroyed but some survive in company museum or in storage. The 1954 concept car Lincoln Futura was in a custom car shop for years until it was used as the Batmobile in the Batman TV series in 1966.
There are some concept cars that are well known for one reason or another. The Buick Y Job was designed in the 1930s by Harley Earl and is considered to be the first concept vehicle. The General Motors Le Sabre built in 1951 introduced the 12 volt electrics and aluminum 215 ci V8. The 1959 Cadillac Cyclone was one of Harley Earl's last designs. Chevrolet Volt is one of the first plug in hybrid electric vehicle concept cars.
